I just want to show you some of the pictures we took from a 50s fashion shoot showing off Sandra’s new dress. Some dresses are just so fabulous they deserve that extra bit of attention so we even found a make up artist and made a special effort with the location of the shoot. For a rose covered dress what better location could there be than Queen Mary’s Gardens in Regent’s Park? It just happens to be one of the finest rose gardens in the country. Sadly, we were a few weeks off the prime time, but it was still an amazing sight in spite of a few tired looking roses.
It was a really hot day, just above 30C, and the sun was out in full force. Taking photos in the sun was challenging for the model as we did not have a diffuser large enough for full size portraits. By far the best photos were all in some degree of shades. Note to self: Buy massive diffuser.
All pictures taken with the X-Pro2 and the XF16-55mmF2.8 lens.
